Outside residential areas, driving is allowed at the following speeds:

• For passenger cars and trucks with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of no more than 3.5 tons: no more than 110 km/h on freeways, and no more than 90 km/h on other roads. This does not apply to the case described in the ninth paragraph of this section;
• For intercity buses, minibuses, and motorcycles on all roads: no more than 90 km/h;
• For other buses, passenger cars towing a trailer, and trucks with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) over 3.5 tons: no more than 90 km/h on freeways, and no more than 70 km/h on other roads;
• For vehicles driven by drivers with less than 2 years of driving experience on all roads: no more than 70 km/h;
• For trucks carrying people in the cargo bed: no more than 60 km/h;
• For vehicles towing motor vehicles: no more than 50 km/h;
• For vehicles carrying dangerous, heavy, and large goods: at the speed set when the transport conditions were approved;
• For passenger cars on certain road sections where road conditions allow safe driving: no more than 110 km/h (with the proper 3.24 sign placed).

Note: The decision to set the speed limit described in the ninth paragraph is made by the state transport and roads agency. It must be approved by the state traffic safety agency.
